Langballigau ist außerdem Station der Deutschen Gesellschaft zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger (DGzRS), die hier ihr Seenotrettungsboot WERNER KUNTZE stationiert hat. Ein Zoll- und ein Fischereiaufsichtsboot liegen ebenfalls im Hafen.
